Troubleshooting Manual
Follow the steps below if the ring light on your photo booth head unit is not turning on.
1. Check the Touch Dimmer Sensor
Before opening the head unit, confirm whether the blue light around the touch dimmer sensor is illuminated.
- If the blue light is on, the touch dimmer is receiving power.
- If the blue light is not on, the touch dimmer may not be receiving power or may have a loose connection.
2. Prepare the Head Unit
Place the head unit carefully on a flat, soft surface to avoid scratching or damaging the booth.
Once the head unit is secure, remove the screws from the back shell and carefully take off the back cover.
3. Check the Ring Light Connection
Locate the plug connected to the ring light.
Confirm that the ring light plug is fully connected. If it is loose or disconnected, reconnect it securely.
When reconnecting, make sure the positive (+) and negative (-) wires are placed on the correct sides.
Also check the wires coming from the ring light and confirm they are making solid contact inside the connector.
4. Check the Touch Dimmer Wiring
If the blue light around the touch dimmer sensor was not illuminating, inspect the cable connected to the touch dimmer.
Confirm the cable is securely connected from the touch dimmer to the connector, and from the connector to the main power cable.
Make sure all connections are fully seated and that no wires appear loose, damaged, or disconnected.
5. Test the Ring Light
After checking and reconnecting all cables, carefully power the booth back on and test the ring light again.
If the ring light turns on, reinstall the back shell and secure all screws.
